Our mission is to support the emotional well-being of adolescents during student-led musical events both on campus as well as within community-based programs. Our team will also highlight peer-to-peer support networks alongside service opportunities within Massachusetts.
Notes4Recovery is an exciting initiative that will launch an annual Recovery Concert for the adolescent and young adult community. There will be several musical performances, preceded by a recovery presentation, guidance on how to support a friend in crisis, and tips on how one can reach out for support themselves if struggling with a mental health issue. (For educational institutions hosting a similar concert on their campus, our team will share “Event Planning Kits”). If interested in joining our Planning Committee and/or sponsoring an upcoming Notes4Recovery concert, please contact Will and Kaitlin at: N4R@HynesRecovery.com.
“Music speaks what cannot be expressed, soothes the mind and gives it rest, heals the heart and makes it whole, flows from the heaven to the soul.”

Will and Kaitlin Hynes, Co-Founders of Notes4Recovery, are siblings passionate about music - each have performed alongside mentors from the highly regarded Berklee College of Music. In addition to playing soccer, our co-founders have participated in a Cape Cod sailing program for several years (receiving both racing and the coveted Instructor Awards). Further, Will received the prestigious Robert E. Arnold Sportsmanship Award. He is currently a member of his high school’s Varsity Sailing Program as well as a Junior Instructor at the Falmouth Harbor Sailing School. Kaitlin is a Volunteer Sailing Instructor who was selected as the sole recipient of the 2020 William Jordalen Commodore Award. This past summer, she was awarded first place honors in an Opti sailing competition and also won the Falmouth Cup Regatta.
Now that Will and Kaitlin are entering their teen years, they have become increasingly aware of the mental health concerns facing their peers – leading to the development of this awareness initiative. In addition to supporting previous events within Hynes Recovery Services, Will can also reflect on the knowledge and experience gained as a graduate of Youth in Philanthropy (YIP), an experiential leadership development program designed to empower and educate youth to become part of the next generation of philanthropists.

"We are thrilled to be launching this important program to support our peers who are struggling with an overwhelming amount of stress, anxiety, and depression, as well as other mental health concerns prevalent in the student population. It is our hope that through campus awareness initiatives, educational programming and service opportunities – as well as our signature fundraising event (“Notes4Recovery” concert), that we will be able to provide much needed support to students in crisis within our community." – Will and Kaitlin Hynes
